This version of the Android Support plugin for IntelliJ IDEA (or Android Studio) cannot open this project, please retry with version 2021.2.1 or newer.

 

 

 

최신 프로젝트를 빌드하려 했으나, 위와 같은 오류가 발생했다.

현재 안드로이드 스튜디오 버전이 해당 프로젝트에 최적화된 안드로이드 스튜디오 버전이 불일치 한 것이다.

 

 

해결 방법

 

상단 Android Studio 메뉴에서 Check for Updates... 를 눌러준다.

 

 

 

해당 버튼을 눌러도 아무 변화가 없는 것처럼 보일 것이다.

당황하지 않고 화면을 천천히 살펴보면 우측 하단에 아래와 같은 안내가 발생해있는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

해당 알럿의 Update... 를 누르면 다음과 같은 팝업이 뜬다.

 

 

 

 

Download를 누르고 안드로이드 스튜디오를 재실행해주면 해결된다.
